5 days in Prague with Kutná Hora and Karlštejn
With five days in Prague you can see the famous sights at ease, plus corners that short visits miss: Strahov, the Wallenstein Garden and the old industrial district of Holešovice. Two train trips round it off: Kutná Hora with its ossuary and Gothic cathedral, Karlštejn with the castle of Charles IV. The trips fall on days three and four, with no need to change hotels.

5 days in Prague: frequently asked questions
What can you do with 5 days in Prague?
The Old Town, the castle and Malá Strana at an easy pace, plus Holešovice and Letná. Two days cover trips to Kutná Hora and Karlštejn.
Kutná Hora or Karlštejn – which is better?
Kutná Hora offers more: the ossuary, two cathedrals and an old town. Karlštejn is a single castle but quicker to reach. With five days you can do both.
Do I need a car for the day trips?
No. Both are reachable by train from the main station. Only in Kutná Hora do you need a bus or local train once to get into the centre.
