A weekend in Berlin: Friday to Sunday
This plan makes use of what only happens at the weekend: a market at Boxhagener Platz on Saturday, the flea market in Mauerpark on Sunday. Friday evening is enough for the dome, the gate and dinner in Mitte. Saturday is the long day with Nefertiti, the TV Tower and the painted Wall; Sunday stays in the north and finishes early enough for the trip home.

Good to know
Book Saturday ahead
The Neues Museum and the TV Tower both run on time slots. Book both before you travel and Saturday keeps its rhythm.
Luggage on Sunday
Hauptbahnhof and the other big stations have lockers, so you can walk through Mauerpark on Sunday without your suitcase.
Late nights
At weekends many U-Bahn lines run all night, so getting back from Friedrichshain late is no problem.
